EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUIES [EFT] BY PUJA KANTH ALFRED on 16 November 2019.

"First time in Chennai, Yuvathi organized an event on Mindful walkathon on August 11th 2019 at YMCA, Buck's Amphitheater. Mr. Mafoi.Pandiarajan, Minister for anguage and Culture was the chief guest; Mr. Praveen Nair, Managing director of TNCDW was the Guest of Honour. More than 250 people participated in the event and gained awarness about mindfulness and how to practice mindfulness in day to day life. During the event, the participants had a brief warm up session by Fitness One, followed by mindfulness demonstration by Dr. Sumathi Chandrasekaran. The WALKATHON was flagged off by Honorable Minister Thiru. MaFoi K. Pandiarajan. Thanks to all the supporters who were very enthusiastic and actively participated."

Yuvathi - happy women happy family, is an Ngo started by Dr. Sumathi chandrasekaran a family and marital therapist. Yuvathi celebrated Women's Day on 9th march 2019 at Mind Cafe, Bells road Chepauk. Mrs Priyadarshini, an artist, dancer and a social worker was the guest of honour. Yuvathi has started monthly workshops to create awareness on mental wellness and to empower women. The first workshop on Sound therapy was conducted the very same day by Mrs. Karishma as part of the celebration. We had an inaugural speech by Dr. suchitra, president of yuva-thi followed by the welcome address by Dr. Sumathi Chandrasekaran, founder of yuvathi. The key address was given by Mrs. Priyadarshini on the importance of counselling. She empha-sised the benefits of positive mental health and how a counsellor plays a major role in it. She spoke about women empowerment and how is it necessary for women to stay emotionally stable to handle herself andher family. Her speech was an eye opener for everyone.

Mrs. Karishma addressed and shared her knowledge on energy healing. She practices pranic healing, aura and chakra healing, tibetian sound techniques etc. She spoke about the difference between each type of healing and compared it to medical healing process. Soon after her briefing, we started the tibetian bowl technique. She asked us to lie down and helped us relax with the vibrations of the tibetian bowls. The session lasted for an hour and everyone enjoyed a blissful relaxation.

With the therapeutic session,Women's Day programme ended with more positivity and a good learning.

LANGUAGE OF HAPPINESS on 13/04/2019

Our second work shop was on language of happiness by Dr.Sumathi Chandrasekaran.10 number of people participated, it was a lively session the facilitator came up with various activities one among them was 'I' exercise it helped the participants to know more their own self. Almost all participants enjoyed and got to know the true happiness. The other components discussed in the workshop are feeling thankful and appreciating others and play disclosing the formula of real happiness in which we are running behind.

BACH FLOWER REMEDY on 11/05/2019

Bach flower remedy workshop happened at MindCafe on the 11th of May as part of the monthly workshop series. Dr. PrabhaRamadurai, an experienced therapist with a doctorate from Srilankafor the Bach Flower Remedy System England, addressed the participants. She spoke of various emotional difficulties and mental disorders ranging from panic, uncertainty, loneliness to addiction and how the right combination of Bach flowers can help restore normalcy. She clarified the difference between the mind and the soul, how the mind is conscious while the sound operates from the powerful subconscious.

The Bach flower remedy are extracted by using the 'panchabootha' that is the earth, air, water, sky and fire. This gives them a natural healing potency.

Dr. Prabha was very patient in answering all the queries posed by the audience and cited relatable case studies. Bach flowers are a miracle given to mankind by Mother Nature to heal any emotional assault to the mind and body. The session gave an idea as to how one can seek solace through this remedy and also where to approach for an in-depth understanding and certification to become a Bach flower therapist.

ANGEL THERAPY on 06/06/2019

Mind Cafe hosted the Angel Therapy workshop in the month of June.

Mrs. Krishma C Jain, an alternate healing therapist, facilitated the session. She is well versed in panic healing, Crystal, Theta healing, sound healing and more. In this session she shared her knowledge on Angel's prayer and how the audience can use it for personal and family situations. The session explained who Angels are, the four main Angels (Micheal, Raphael, Gabriel and Euriel) who are called upon in prayer, and how prayers are specifically framed. She clarified the myths surrounding Angels prayer that they are not associated with religion though they originate from the Arch Angels talked about in the Bible. The audience practiced four prayers calling up on each of the four Archangelsand ended the session with a prayer for abundance. In the two hour practice of Angel therapy theaudience learnt how to simply ask, to be given. As the Angels are very kind and giving. Following this session, there was a brief talk by Mrs. Naseema, a nutrition expert, about healthy eating and nature's remedies against the evils of today's farming and food industry, namely, insecticides, pesticides and preservatives. She spoke of the amazing benefits of Aloe Vera in intestinal health, Cod liver oil in cardiac health and cranberries for renal and women's reproductive health. Feedback from the audience revealed that the workshop was in fact informative and helpful in reaching out to solutions they were inadvertently looking for.
